The idea
Every stitch is placed by hand. The small irregularities are not flaws, they are the fingerprint of a real person, a real afternoon.
Merino, alpaca, cotton and silk, chosen for how they feel against new skin and how they soften with each wash.
These are not seasonal things. They are the pieces folded into a drawer and handed down, still soft, years later.
The making
A skein is wound into a ball by hand. The fibre is felt, not just seen, softness decided at the fingertips before a single stitch.
The first row is the promise of the piece. Everything that follows is built on the tension held in these opening loops.
The fabric grows slowly upward, one line at a time, over evenings rather than minutes. This is where the hours quietly gather.
Ends are woven in by hand, the piece is blocked and pressed soft, and a small imperfect thing is finished, ready for someone.
The pieces
Not a catalogue, just a handful of pieces, each made to order and each given the room to be its own quiet campaign.
Knitted by hand in thick, soft chenille, wide enough for a pram, warm enough for the years after. The first thing wrapped around them, and the last thing given away.
A daisy-crochet bodice with little wooden buttons, gathered into a soft linen skirt, made to be twirled in, photographed, and quietly handed to a younger cousin.
A softly textured moss-stitch cardigan tied with two little bows and gathered sleeves, the layer that ends up in every photograph because it is never taken off.
Little knitted dungarees with a front pocket and a tiny wooden bear, soft ribbed cuffs at the ankles, and nothing scratchy anywhere near new skin.
A matching set knitted as one, hat, bloomers and booties made together, so the whole little outfit arrives at once, nothing missing its other half.
A hooded little sleeping bag knitted in the shape of a star, thick and soft, fastened with wooden buttons down one side. The whole baby tucked warm inside, with only the face showing.
Two soft little parcels for feet that have gone nowhere yet, knitted with a scalloped cuff so they stay on through the smallest of kicks.
The material
A photograph can only get you halfway. The rest lives in the weight of the yarn, the give of a stitch, the warmth it holds a moment after you set it down.

Single-ply and low-twist yarns, chosen so the fabric stays supple instead of scratchy.
A gentle hand-wash in cool water, pressed flat to dry. It will only grow softer.
Densely knitted and hand-finished, made to survive being loved and washed for years.
Commission
More like commissioning a small heirloom than configuring a product. Choose the piece, the colour and a little detail, a name, a date, and it is knitted only once it is truly meant for someone.

The wrapping
Every piece leaves the studio folded, tied with twine and finished with a handwritten thank-you and a little “Handmade” tag, sealed with our stamp. The unwrapping is part of the gift.
